Being in ur 20's on a bagger has nothin to do w cost. Unless your riding a sportster your payin a lot of money for a harley, weather its a softail, dyna, or a touring bike your forkin over some money. If u got the money ur gonna get what u want. 27 with 09 rk!

I was 24 when I bought my 98 Road King Classic and never looked back. Sure, I've riden other bikes since then; a friends Softail, perhaps a sporty here and there. But I just dont see ever buying anything else in my lifetime. Perhaps I'll build a bar hopper one day; but that's just for fun. Once you ride in the comfort of a Bagger, it's hard to go back.

I know this is an old thread but the question is still kind of reasonable. I bought my very first motorcycle of my own at 18, I'd ridden since 11, It was a 70 full dress FLH. I sold it a couple years later and bought smaller faster bikes, but regretted selling my first love. Age and money brought me home to a new 06 Ultra at 45 and this 49 yo old man loves it.
