63 going on 64 . Ehans , your Road King Classic looks like the 09 I just purchased . Rode a Sportster the past 4 years ,it was a fun bike with the suspension mods and a 1200 kit . Thought I'd try the adult version of a Harley .

I don't think one has to be "of age" to be a bagger. I was 26 when I got my Wing. I've been a "bagger" ever since. I just happen to like my comfort when I ride and I like to be able to tote what I need to camp out or go long distance.
BTDT with the rice rockets and I once did 90 brutal miles on an AMF Sportster. That experience sold me on BMW and rice burners for a few years.
IMHO ride what makes you the happiest. One day when I can afford it I'm going to buy a nice plain Harley for running around locally. I'll still keep my Ultra for the longer day rides and trips.
