Had my 07 FLHTC since Oct. of 2006 and I will turn 62 in September. I had two heart attacks last year with a pig valve replacement, a pacemaker and defibulator install. I still like to, twist the wick to listen to my vance & heines pipes up to the time Ya hit the rev limiter, that piticular sound takes all of the gusto out of my roll. I know that Ya should not do that but 2 nd. gear just don't last long enough.
I'm 27 and just picked up my first Harley, '99 Road King Classic. I keep hearing from my fiance that I'm not old enough for this bike and need something sexier but I personally don't see it.
Hey MUDDY....My wife said the same thing. "The Chopper is Sexy" "I don't see you on a Bagger" Guess what she finds sexy now? After the novelty of the Chopper wore off she never wanted to clime aboard. Now she snuggles-up and smiles. Who's your Daddy now???
It took 69yrs, but I finally grew-up. Maybe that is what has to happen. Experience it for yourself. I wont bother to show everything else I've owned. I will say, this is the best there's been for me.
