I have to agree with other posts that you get older (hopefully) you have a bit more "disposable income" (if there is such a thing) and therefore can afford a more expensive bike with more features. If I had teh money earlier, I absolutely would have bought a bagger. I looked & drooled for long enough!!
28, bought an ultra this summer cause the wife loves to ride with me. still have my 98 heritage springer with soft bags and lots of fringe, does that count?? got that one when i was 25.
Im 27. What i would like to know is who is the oldest fella out there riding a bagger. I rode with a guy that was 65 and he was ahead of me the whole time we must have averaged a speed of about 90 when we were on the highway (we rode 400miles in about 8 hours). Its was pretty bad *** riding that hard with guy his age. I hope im able to do the same.
