I just did some research and ordered and received my new PowerTye's. Besides their reputation and all I had read, the one thing that finally made my decision was that the PowerTye's have a safety clip attached to each hook to provide added security should the bike come loose or spring up/down while traveling. The hooks/straps can't come off.

Whatever you do - just DON'T forget to check them for tightness - especially early on. Based on experience, they LOOSEN up initially, then seem to hit that stretch point limit and stay fairly tight after the first few re-tightens.
