Anyone have Rush slip on mufflers and if so do you like them and do they sound good with thestock head pipes I was thinking about the 2.5" baffles Thanks
I have them and they are awsome. Throw a set of tru duals on and they are even better. Unless you are going to do a fuel commander go with the 2.25" or less. The 2.5" will give you alot of decel popping. Definitly worth the money. Bryan
Thanks for the info performance wise how is the stock head pipe vs the true duals
Performance wise no. Sound and heat wise, HUGE difference. I did the tru duals to get some of the heat off the right side. The added sound/tone was just a bonus. Bryna
Thanks for the info, I'm running a carb any suggestions on jet kits the dealer was supposed to of jetted the bike when I had my se air cleaner installed and what they said were se muffler but turned out to be just hd muffler so I'm wonder if they even jetted it I need to check and see what I have in it Thanks again

Yes, yes, and yes. I agree with mvinc01 that the 2.5" are too large, and Jamie at Fuel Moto will verify that they will hurt performance. I would recommend these:
I had 1.75's on the bike before installing the Fuel Moto custom baffles. They were louder but IMO did not sound as good, having a raspy bark at roll-on that never grew on me. The new German insulation Jamie's using on his custom setup quieten them and cut the raspy exhaust note.
Also, be advised that true duals will also hurt performance, although you didn't mention that this was an option for you. Stick with the stock head pipes or a 2-into-1 system unless you like the appearance of true duals, or reducing heat on your right leg (or your passenger's) is a priority. Saddle shields can help with keeping the heat off with stock headpipes.
