Totally different tastes and bikes? Last time I looked they were (are) all in the "Touring family." But hey, I don't know everything (anything)...
So what your saying is the Street Glide and the Road Glide "DON'T" look completely different and the "DON'T" ride or handle differently?

Sorry, I strongly disagree with that.
The Touring family refers to the frame and drive train. After that the Road king, Road glide, Electra glides and all their cousins start to morph into something very different from one another. Not just in looks but very much in the way the ride and handle under a bunch of different conditions.
And that class, is why Harley Davidson makes so many different kinds of motorcycles.........something for everyone because everyone likes something different. So class, does that mean that if you don't ride a Road Glide you are wrong?? Well, actually that is a bad example.....never mind. Class dismissed!
