i have an 06 street glide, i had a 95 in big bore kit installed with the harley down load. my friend also has an 06 street glide and had a 95 in big bore kit installed with cams and a SERT and had dealer tune bike.we are also running the same low restriction mufflers. the mileage on both bikes is below 5000 miles. we ran handle bar to handle bar starting at 50 mph then turned on the power up to 90 mph. we stayed side by side all the way. whats up with this. we both thought the cams and SERT would pull ahead of my bike.
What type of cams does your friend have. Nothing against your bike but he should have blown you away. 203 and 204 cams would give him good low to mid range power and the 211 on up would give him high end power. The SERT is only as good as the tuner who installed it. Did he have it dyno'd or just have a canned map installed?
Sounds like he got the same CD software down load you got, SERT installed but not used in conjunction with dyno runs. So you are the same as your run indicated.
He shoulda left you from the start, they did not dyno the bike, and if they did the tech sucks. Check this out this was the result from a download to a true dyno tune with a SERT...
Just picked up the Ultra from the SERT dyno tune...WOW...what a difference. I used to have a ping around 2100 rpm with any throttle input...gone. I also had a slight muffler pop on deceleration...gone. The horrible idle shake, and hard starting when cold...gone. The P/O just had the download map installed, it ran alittle lean on the low end and rich on the top. Initial dyno run was 91.3 lbs of torque @ 3675 rpm and 78.9 hp @ 5100 rpm, after the SERT tune 105.2 lbs of torque @ 3500 rpm and 85.1 hp @ 6200 rpm.
This is the results of my SERT/dyno tune. My friend has a RG with the same work done on his engine with just a download and I take him to school every time he tries, even if he gets the jump.

And what mods have you done to your bike?
Was it a 4th or 5th gear Dyno?
Like everone said he should have smoked you in any gear at any speed.
My dad's 88" with S&S 510G cams will walk away from a 95" Big bore with stock heads and cams. Your buddy's bike should of done the same.
Is he 100% sure they did the cams?
A buddy of mine had a 2000 88" Fat boy with SE 204 cams and I had a 2001 with stock cams we both had the same pipes Vance & Hines long shots, His bike sounded alot different then mine at idle. You could tell just by the sound it had a different cam then mine. His bike would walk away from mine even with his old lady on the back of his, while I was ridding solo.
