Default speaker upgrade
Anyone do a front speaker upgrade? I have a 07'SG.What brand. Did it make a big difference in volume or sound quality. Stock speakers sound tinny. No bass at all. No clarity also. Anyone know if the H-D chrome speaker trim stays where you put it.
Turn up the SABBATH.

+1 on the hogtunes. Just put mine in yesterday and can say without a doubt that they are just awesome and a world of difference.

I replaced mine last weekend with the JBL GTO527 and added some foam rubber around the backside. It makes a world of difference in the sound quality and volume. I got them off Ebay for $50.

hogtunes here, sound way better than my buddies stock speakers. The hd-Trim stays put very well.

Personally, I went from stock to Hogtunes front and rear. Added the Hogtunes amp & then had issues with severe distortion in the fronts. I just sold the front set and installed Hawg-Wired in the fronts with no other changes at all.
Major difference in sound. I had my doubts. Not any more.

Infinity Kappas sound very good, very pleased with the decibels and bass at high volume. $62.00 off ebay

Some good advice for you up above. I threw the stockers away, and later switched to the JBL's. Now i'm going to the ultimate upgrade with a full blown car stereo. Dont ask....lol
