Other riders are always angry because they are uncomfortable with a stiff ride, have a backpack on to carry their stuff, and have no radio to listen to.
Steve
I wish I had a backpack, I use a plastic bag held down with a bungie cord.
It's become a common theme on the internet. Keyboard heroes who usually have no ***** in real life think they can hide behind their computer and shoot off their big mouths about anything. Most of the time these are punks who would not even have the ***** to say anything to you face to face.
Ignore them, they aren't worth the energy it takes to respond. As a matter of fact if you do respond it only makes them happy and gives them more false courage. Never wrestle with a pig... you just get dirty and the pig likes it...
I look out for really sharp rides that reflect hard effort, creativity and expense.......Whenever I see one, I always compliment the guy, ask questions and offer encourgement....I've made some great friends that way and learned lots about HD's......I alsowatch forthe younger guys who are trying hard to get their first HD....They soon discover I've got cold beer and time for them too.
Our HDs are about all that's left of traditional America and traditional American men.....(Well, besides me).....So whenever a younger guy seems interested, I take time to cultivate him into the ranks, while at the same time I look to those with more experience to make me a better example.
We have a responsibility to continue the tradition..........you can't do that if you are dissin each other.
I had an old (I mean old '91 over 100k mi) evo ultra on a ride one time. About 15 bikes, rockets and beemers and wings, just about every kind. One of my buddies had his 20 year old daughter along and after ridingon the back of all of them, guess which one she liked best.
Just for the comment, lets rally the rest of the bagger owners to get in there and vote if they haven't alreay done so. A statement needs to be made after a POS comment like that.
