go to google.com and enter "thundermax" site:hdforums.com or "tmax" site:hdforums.com and you can find many of the previous conversations about it. Or look at this poll by me on the tmax. I have been researching the benefits myself.
I have the Thundermax with Autotune...Have it on my '06 RG for about 1 year now, around 5000 or 6000 miles. It is the best purchase i have made for the RG. If you makeANY mods to your ride you simply find the map closest to your mods, if not the exact map, download via PC and let the Thundermax do the rest. WIth the active learning with O2 sensors it usually will be dialed in perfectly within 500 miles depending on th enumber of stop/starts you do during this period. I always find it hard to pull over and stop and re-start the motor because it isriding so well.
It is a great product and well worthevery penny. If you have any other questiosn feel free to ask. Or check out v-twins EFI forum there is a thread about 100 pages long aobut the Thundermax since it's intitial release...Full of GREAT information.
Ditto on the above.... nothing but good things from me on TMax. The SERT is an awesome setup, but your tied to the tuner for every mod you make on the engine/air/exhaust system.
