i ve been riding harleys since 1960 when i was 17yrs,i can tell you the rides have most definitely improved in all phases especially the comfort of the ride.i hope to be riding until i would not be a safe rider to myself or anyone else & i hope thats a long time from now.we were in lancaster this summer & there was a group of riders in which noone was under 70yrs old my hat was off to all of them.when your at least over 60yrs and have been riding that many years riding is part of you the fade stage was over years ago giving up riding now would be like giving up eating, drinking or breathing all of which you need to live along with riding .which is most impotant to life as we know it.i hope in 20 years or so we can talk about this again,

Met a guy named Ray at a riding class near New Orleans. \\; It was an 1100 mile round trip for me he had another 400 miles. \\; He did great in the class and we rode several hundred miles together, averaged 70 to 75 mph.
He is 81. \\; I would say it's in our minds but he was in great shape. \\; Convinced me to eat better and work out a little more.
