I know the chrome trip works from reading above. I don't have a chrome trim on my 08, just a rubber gasket.
After I mounted the shield on I couldn't get the gasket to stay on. I guess I could super glue but then I am out of luck when I switch back to the stock shield.
Is the rubber gasket really needed? I can't see if it's rubbing or not .
