Default Fired it up

A lot of you know I've been torn down all winter waiting on paint and doing a lot of other mods.

Custom Paint
I finally got the paint back and it rocks, but has many imperfections that the painter said he will take care of. He wanted to get me on the road for Daytona. We'll see in a couple of weeks.

Cruise
My 2000 is not wired for Cruise, and they don't sell the kit, so I built a harness, did the some custom mods to the Mikuni and got a cruise module on there. All I can say is I'll eat my words giving my buddies crap all these years about having cruise. Damn... I hate it when that happens.
Cruise is awesome.

21" Front Wheel and 2" lowered PS front end. (Shooter 64)
All I can say is Wow.The 21" Forge Tec Creations 5 up front (16" rear) is very responsive. No more lazy handling bagger. This sucker is a different bike. The "only" thing I noticed was a full, lock to lock turn at slow speed was somewhat different. May take a little getting use to.

Single Front Rotor - Shooter64
Whoever said that a single 13" rotor and PM 6 piston caliper was less braking power is nuts. Unless my brakes have been junk all these years, the current single set up will stop me in a hurry and feels much stronger than what I had.

I was worried at first, when I first hit the brakes, but as soon as the pads worked in and the rotor scuffed some it was brake city.

Sirius Radio
INV2 - I mounted the Siruis and used the Direct Connect Kit. Hardwired power, FM Direct adapter, and Antenna under the fairing. Not real happy with the sound. Wide open volume it's not very loud and distorts. My other Siruis has a volume control and it works fine but this INV2, unless I figure something out, it aint staying.

Ipod Nano Mount from Bobby (Gilbo)
It's chromed, it's mounted, and it's awesome. I get tons of compliments on it. The only thing I did was installed the Invisheild cover on the Nano to keep it from getting scared. I then polished the vertibrae fingers to allow for more clearance. After chrome, it's a nice snug fit.

Wild One 575's and Braided cables - They are much better than stock that's for sure and was well worth the investment.

Lots of little nit picking items not worth mentioning.

All in all, every thing went great. Disappointed in the paint. Hopefully this guy will take care of the problems. Never, Never pickup your paint at night, you can't see the screw ups.

Bart, thanks for the great deals!

Pictures to follow some day....

Rev

thats the thing with painters. You have to be 100% sure of the work he does. We all know how picky we are when it comes to our rides. I checked with probably 8 different painters before I picked one. And the reason I picked that one is because I saw some work that he had done and it was excellent. Hoefully he fixes it to your standards. If he is a man of quality work and a man of his word he will
