More than a few others have had the opposite experience. \\; We put lyndalls on and they squeal. \\; Might try some of the tips I've heard here though....
Regardless, they stop a heck of a lot better and NO brake dust!!!
 \\;
Worth it.

Yup, put Lyndalls on and the squeel stopped for a few hundred miles then it came back as bad or worse than before!! I spoke to a guy at one of the harley shops and he mentioned his "fix"........
He has filled the void in the wheel behind the brake disk with expanding foam, let it dry, shaved it off smooth, put the bike together and done. \\; \\; no more brake squeel.
7800miles on my 08 SG...the rear brakes \\;still makes noise, but only when 1st starting to gently apply the rear brake or let'n off the break when coming to a stop. \\; A firm application of the rear brake and there is no noise.

FastHarley,
I can't find Lyndalls at your website (www.motorcyclemetal.com) I'm interested in pads for an '05 EGC, the OEM sintered pads squeal way too much. The last digits for the stock pads are 00D but all I can find at the Lyndall site are \\;00B. \\;Can you help?

A dealer told me last week, that a fix is in the works by HD. \\; Mine have quieted down some with 5000 miles on the bike now. \\; Still a pia though.
