Default Bars

Serious question here. I want to lay back a little more. I am about to do heated grips and figured that i would do some bars at the same time. Are the HD touring pull back any good? I was wondering if anyone has them and how much it changed their riding position? Suggestions please.

thanks,

Joe

I cant say much for the hd bars, but the Wild Ones 575's are nice, wider grip and more pullback, set me right back into my backrest. If youdo decide to go with internally wired bars, make sure you get the 1-piece handlebar clamp from harley.

[sm=popcorn.gif][sm=popcorn.gif][sm=popcorn.gif]There are a bunch of threads about bars for the SG here.. Most go with the Wild One chubbys. 515, 517,585's etc..
There is also a KromeWerks one. I forget the mod #.. And some say "Heritage" bars are great.. You do have to watch out for the bottom spread 11.5" because of the fairing.
I am highly interested as my wrists hurt after a couple hundred miles with the stock bars.

Whatever you do watch the width of the base of the bars. I just got some Kromeworks that were too narrow at the base.
Wont fit behind the lower inner fairing at all.

I have the pull back bars on my Ultra. Clutch/brake cables needed to be changed (longer); you might want to check with the dealership. After a short adjustment period, I really enjoy the change.

The Khromewerks 300505's and ...502's are made to fit the glides. If that was one of them, it was a bad bar. My 505 fits perfect and allows me to lay back like I'm watching TV
