LIke others, my Rinehart T-D tips changed color - the service writer at the HD dealership told me that I had to live with it because "they all do it". Thanks to posts on this forum, I knew better. Brad at Bub shipped me a new set of tips. My discolored ones went right back to them, in the same box, using a supplied return postage paid label. A different manufacturing process is used now to keep the black tips black. Thanks to good customer service at Bub and great information found here, this was a piece of cake. Ride Safely.
My boyfriend and I also have Rineharts with tips that turned black. I talked to Brad at Bub also.We had the same great experience with the exchange for new tips. Nice to know they stand behind their products!
Glad to hear that Bub stands behind their product. Quick Q, I am getting ready to add a set to my new ride. The HD dealer boyz are telling me I haveto install a stage I along with a power commander to do it "right" so I don't I will tear up the top end of the motor. Truth or sells pitch?

I think he is correct, installing true duals is different than just installing simple slip on mufflers. He said to do it "right", and I agree.
