Finally got my first ride of the year in today here in Nebraska. Temps in the mid 50's. Roads were a little wet in spots due to melting snow, had to watch the sand on the side streets, but it was GREAT! Only about 80 miles bit I was wearing a smile the whole way.

 

Hi 1965, I just put my RKCustom on the streets a few days ago. When I took her off the batt-tender I checked air in tires, oil, dusted it off, and put some leather dressing onthe saddlebags. Check your bike out befor any long rides, be safe and keep it in the wind

 

Glad to hear you got a few miles on the bike today. Looking forward to when I can hit the road again with the scoot. Messed up my ankle 6 weeks ago so no riding for me. []

 

Could ya believe it today? We finally get a break here in the midwest. Just got my Ultra today..roads were crappy but there was no way in hell I wasn't gonna take her out for a spin when it's frickin' 45 degrees out! Pure heaven!

 

Yeah, it was nice! I checked the bike out pretty good before I took her out. Both tires were down to about 30 and needed a squirt of air, other than that she was in good shape and ran like a charm.

 

Where did you get your bike? Walkers?
