great loss, especially to those of us that play, he was an inspiration to the nth degree. he battled cancer from age 1. thats what blinded him. ride on.

I was surprised to read how young he was. 41?
Not because of the way he looked but because he had been around and so good for so long.
He was truly inspirational to watch and listen two.

And he was an inspiration to anyone fighting to overcome what some consider insurmountable odds. Music promoter told him at a very young age that "lap playing would never lead to success in the music business." Jeff couldn't see but he had the vision...

Seen him on Canada Day at Molson Park Near Toronto in 88 or 89. Got off his chair on the middle of the stage, danced his way from one side to the other, came back and dropped right back into his chair--wild. Will be missed! R I P Mr Healey
