It's been around for a long time and doesn't work worth a damn. Don't waste your money.

This may be what Terry is referring to and I can't personally vouch for it, but this is from JC Whitney and I have seen the same thing at the local dealer. My favorite tactic is to ride with large groups.

yeah read the rest of it: erases credit cards, don't wear a pacemaker...???

If cell phones are bad for your head, riding around with a supermagnet probably isn't such a grand idea.

I had a light changer on my last bike. I can't remember who it was made by but it did work at any lights that have the sensors in the road. There is a light about 3 miles from my house that would not change prior to installing the little magnetic device. After I installed the device I always got a green light in less than a minute. My new bike does not have one of these little devices and it won't change the light.

I picked up a magnet at the dealer in SLC for 20 bucks. it's about 2" x 3/16" x 3/16". Seems to work as Lype mentioned.

Yep thats what I do. I will sit there for a min. to see if it is going to change, but then I just get P.O.ed and go. A cop saw me do it once he did not say much to me though, he watched me sit through 3 or so light cycles.

I've heard people say it didn't work also. The other thing you can do is pull up near the crack in the road where the sensor is and rev the motor a little which will cause a magnetic field that's been said to change lights.
