I couln'nt get out of the gate in my subdivision so I bought one. Helped but still had a problem and I had to ride in circles in front of the gate until it opened! Got real good at slow speed control and U-turns. Then I bought another one and put it in a differant location. It helped alittle more. But you just can't run the gate like a stop light, unless you want a story to tell! Might have four on before its over with. Here's the web site www.greenlightstuff.com Hope this helps.
Interesting; so will any magnet work if it is about that size? which side should be pointed toward the ground. I usually run them also after a few cycles but if any of you guys drink (on occasion) you are taking a chance of being pulled over and that could lead to more problems if you get my drift.
Not sure what the law is in other states, but here in the Lone Star, the legislature is working on two changes in the law: Making lane splitting legal if motorcycle speed does not exceed 10 mph over speed of "stagnant" traffic, and the second is permissible turn without protected arrow if you sit through an entire cycle of changes of traffic lights.
My experience has been, and confirmed by friends who are LEO's, that turning left despite no arrow is acceptable (if safe) after waiting a full round of light changes.
