Recently got an 08 SG. I got the short adjustable mounts and moved the passenger foot pegs up to be highway pegs.
I am also 5'10. Working out pretty well, my legs are completely stretched when heels are on the pegs. Use the foot boards as heel rest and the pegs for the ***** of the feet. Good stuff
Kuryakan Isos...I'm a 6 footer and have them mounted on the engine guard, allows you alot of adjustment!
If I am not mistaken, these come in "short arm & long arm" versions. I am 6-2 and they tell me to get the short arm onesfor obvious reasons. However, I had the long horns with my Heritage, and I turned them away from me to get extra length. (I am patiently waiting for my 08 Ultra to get here). I don't think I will be able to do this on the Ultra, so I am thinking get the short arm ones. I won't be able to stretch out like I would like to, but I don't think turning the long arms away from me will look very good on the Ultra. Any and allopinions or suggestions appreciated. (Pictures would be great!!!)
