Default Clutch Cable Problem

Finally got around to putting my Barnett braided clutch cable on since installing my WO518s. Looks great. Headed out for a ride. I pulled out into traffic, making a hard right, and the clutch dissengages. Then is am in traffic and can't get it to re-engage. Turns out the cable, which is two piece with a male/female coupling at the adjuster, pulled apart at the adjuster and that held the clutch in. I guess the cable is just too darn short. I did not have trouble with the OEM one, and it will go back on for now. When the next one comes in, I am going to drill, tap and install a set screw to make sure that never happens again. FYI if your changing cables!
