Took delivery of my 08 UC POSE in early December. Still am amazed at this machine. Now I know why I waited so long before owning a Harley--after riding eveything else when you get out on the open highway on the HD you have bo doubts that this is the BIKE of bikes!

Just unloaded my 08 Ultra because it didn't have ABS and the IDS system is considered by many as a bandaid fix to the 5th gear wine.. and of course the fly-by wire throttle among the hot running engine.... and all the other troublesome things regarding the 08's being discussed on this and other forums.

Not to sound negative about the 08 Ultra's but they do and will have problems from time to time.... Of course they are Harley's which do have the charastics of wheel wobble, leaking jugs, trottle delays, pitting wheels, front end vibrations, faring bracket breaks, loose bolts falling out, bad starters etc etc. and of course the high upkeep.. Still better then owning a boat!

Very nice bikes and rides but I'm now just going to set back and wait for Harley to improve on all the improvements made on the 08 models... The mass production Harley has come to has me a little concerned over getting there changes out to the market before throurgh test and evaluation has been done.

Soon your buyers regrets will set in...

Ain't I just full of doom and gloom this AM.... Must be the friggin snow here in Ohio
