Default MOTOR MOUNT

whats up all....i had a bad motor mount,,had it replaced...the bike now seems to vibrate allot worse,,than normal..called the dealer & they said it could be the mount it self,,,because they were haveing problems with the old ones being to soft & brakeing,so the new motor mounts are stiffer.....my question is has anyone else had this issue?....do i just have to get use to a new feel?

just had mine if for 30,000 mile service. They replaced the front mount due to a bulletin. It used to sit at a light and vibrate like a Harley. Now it is a lot worse. I have read many other member say the same in past posts. I have not heard anything lately and hope it will settle down over time. Maybe it just vibrates at a differently frequency and have to get used to it.

might be to tight, I did that once it would make your feet go numb from the vibration.

The dealer did mine when I brought it in for it's first service.(and last time taking it to a dealer). I think it was a recall of some kind. They did it without my knowledge that there was an issue. It now has the Buell mount on it and vibrates much less than the original.

According to the bulletin it is the same mount used since 1980. Therefor any bagger should be able to use the Buell mount instead of the new one, right?
