Default Vibration/Shaking
I know just enough about bikes to be dangerous so I thought I would ask. Every time I start my '07 Road King Classic up it vibrates and shakes. Is this normal??

Only if the Headlight falls off and the radio quits workin, woould I be worried.

How it ride? They all shakeexcept the softails. mine shakes but smooths outfine once I get started. Sounds like a normal harley to me. ride safe and enjoy it.

I kind of thought that was the whole idea! I guess no one remembers the days of the solid mount motors, you remember, the ones before there was any counter balancing. Don't get me wrong, I love the smoothness of my Glide, but every once in a while, I just have to take the wife's Sporty out for a spin, just to get some good vibrations!

C'mon, it's a Harley.. It's supposed to shake. Especially at idle. The magic carpet ride happens as soon as you take off...

Start it up and put your old lady on it. Let her sit for a couple of minutes, shut it off, take her inside and enjoy!
