Listen to turtleman57 and just go ahead and do it! Build the Dyna into the Hot Rod you always dreamed of. Enjoy the comfort, handling, wind protection, and great big badass Brembo brakes on the Street Glide. You cannot go wrong with this motorcycle!

I just sold my 99 FXDX and got an 08 FLHX.

Different rides. If you can keep both that would be ideal. The 99 isnt really worth all that much either, so if you can swing it, keep it. Having said that, I'm spending the cash faster than it seems to be coming in with the 'required' mods. Be prepared for this!
