Vanity Plates? What does your say?

Right, silly question now...how could I get a specimen plate for decoration on my bike, over here in the UK?
Do you get them sent to you, or can you get the actual plates made up locally?
Over here in Blighty, we get issued with a Vehicle Registration Mark, but it's up to us who makes the actual plate up. We can pay more for a snazzy letter/number combo, but it's considered a bit naff to get something cheesey made up.
Hows that for a bit of street politics, eh? And is Barack Obama on your TV screens as much as ours? Jeez..
