Garmin Zumo 550 GPS and 07 Electra Glide Classic
Does anyone know if the RAM mounts that come with the Garmin Zumo 550 fit on the 2007 Electra Glide Classic. I'm thinking of buying a Zumo 550 and was talking to a dealer today abiout the mounts. He "thinks" the mounts that come with the Unit are generic and will fit but couldn't be sure. Has anyone put a Zumo 550 on an 07 EGC with the RAM mounts that come with it or do you have to get different mounts?

the 550 comes with 2 mounts one that mounts to clutch bracket and a u bolt i just mounted mine this week end used the u bolt and hard wired to the back of the lighter ez install

Thanks Papafish...I'm on my way right now to pick up on of these Zumo 550's. They seem like a greta gps from all the reviews I have read!!

There is also a unused wire on your headlight harness.You can put connectors on the power cordand plug the Zumo power cordinto this wire. I also used a 2 pole flat connector, that I bought at the NAPA store, and spliced into the power cord below my switch housing, this way when I want to take the mount off the bike I do not need to unscrew the power cord from the mount.
