I have an 06 RG with True-Track installed. I wanted to add a Baker DD6 tranny. True-Track says their product will not work with a Baker tranny. Even though I believe Baker makes the best trannies, it seems I'm stuck with a Harley 6 speed or lose a $400 stabilizer part.
Whoever you talked to at True Track is WRONG. I just installed a new in the box DDR6 in a custom bagger. I took the TT off the Road King and put it on the Custom. No issues whatsoever.
The guy from True Track "may" be referring to the new Baker 5 quart oil pan that is optional. A true track will not fit that. How do I know? I bought one from Baker when I got the transmission. Not only will the True Track NOT fit a Baker 5 quart oil pan, the oil pan will NOT fit an S&S motor. The new oil pan will ONLY fit a stock oil plummed HD.
In closing, call back to True Track and ask for someone else....
