got the 16 LED pods. mounted them on the bracket they sell that hides in behind the licsense plate. flash for 5 sec then go steady. easy to install and work great. honestly, the 8 LED pods would probably be enough, but i like the 16's. worth every penny, visible day or night and a real attention getter for the idiot on the cell phone behind you.
Got em on my Ultra along with Brightasslights tail light. Hyperlites blink continously on brake and stay on solidly when running. Tail light blinks for 4 seconds but remains blindingly bright on the brakes. Converted fender light to brake light too. Can be seen from International Space Station when braking.
The cool part is that the Hyperlites are the only added light fixtures and they're tiny. The rear looks stock when parked. (I'm considering the lighted spoiler for one more light.)
