I know im going to get flack about this BUT ! I have reinharts and there to loud. I enjoy my radio a lot and i travel. I really get tired of those loud *** pipes. After about five hours of that crap im ready to saw them off. I really liked the quietness of the old factory pipes. I had my engine modified to 100/100. I guess putting on quit pipes will ruin that ? Or will it give me more low end torque ?
You will notice a deference but you won't be impressed with the power or torque gain... Leave on the loud pipes as you will think the damn things coming apart when you put stock pipes on it...You will hear noises that will scare the ever lovin **** out of you....LMAO
personally, I think loud pipes suck...... sre they're great for reving up the engine as you park your bike at the bar..... if impressing guys is your thing...... but I like to clock out the miles.... I bought the RG, so I could enjoy the open road..... and that's what I do...
Basically stock pipes & engine... with SE slip ons.... bike has a "presence" without waking up everyone within a mile as I ride by

RE: Loud Pipes.
Loud?? I always thought they sound err.. polite? Non offensive? I've got standard mufflers in mine and wouldn't really consider them "loud" even at WOT; they bark a bit but don't set off car alarms which is the 'rule of thumb' I've always gone by.
