New But Damaged Windshield
I bought an 8 inch dark gray windshield on ebay last Saturday and recieved it today. I was shocked to seehow it was packed. Wraped in a thin cardboard like paper and I could see a couple of damaged spots on the package. I opened itup and found where the paper on the windshiled looked like it had a small hole so I pulled it back to find the windshield was chipped.
You can see two spots right on the shipping lable in this picture and the one by Click-N-Ship is the one that went through. You can also see the small hole on the paper that was covering the windshield and the chip in on the windshiled right beside it. I've already emailed the seller but haven't heard a thing yet. We'll see if he makes good on this. The guy has a perfect rating rating of 100 percent on 4471 transactions so that makes me feel good.

Don't worry about it. Just call the guy, I'm sure he will make it right. It's a bummer, but most of the good guys on ebay will do anything to keep their records good. I had the same thing happen on a windshield to me. He let me keep the one and sent me a new one just for the price of shipping. Have a better day... and ride safe.

If you get to keep it, I would be interested in that one. I wanna try a 8". Mine is 5 1/2". If the 8" was too tall for me I could trim it down till it was right. Let me know what happens!

Is it "Fastaireone" ??? If so, you don't have to worry.. Jim will send you another out.. He sent mine Priority mail, and arrived just fine.. There was an issue with the laser cut edge being a tad wavy, I took a pic and sent to him.. and he sent me a new one right out. No charge... Excellent service..
