What is the best short antenna? I bought 2 cheap ones... One broke and the other did not make it in the shipping... Any thought on replacements?

Thanks

I replaced both of my antennas with Cycle Whips (low garage ceiling) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CYCLE...QQcmdZViewItem
Stereo works fine, I've never tried the CB.IMO Harley could dump the CB and intercom.

As long as ya ain't doin' it ta a CB antenna, yer right. NEVER trim a CB antenna lahk that, though, unless ya got the SWR meter ta match it back up!

J&M are the best. I have better reception than stock, they're tuned for your CB, and they don't misform like the cheap rubber ones after a few 100 miles. They cost more, but they're worth it.

http://www.easternperformance.com/in...fa336a660d5c76 This is probably the best deal I've seen on them, free shipping and they're a sponsor. If you want shoot me a PM w/your email and I'll send you a pic on my bike. The one in the link isn't the greatest and the file size of my photo won't let me upload it here.

I have to agree with Pete...I only have the radio one, but if you look on the J&M website, the new shortie is configured for the CB also. Great bunch of sales people and fast service. Remi

I have J&Ms on both the AM/FM and CB. Both work great. You might be able to see them in my signature photo.

Do a search for marine antenna, goes inside the fairing and is as good as stock.
