Default fog lights

I am going to try install fog lightson 07 electra glide st today can I just loosen tank and fish wires under or do I need to remove tank thanks in advance for any help

I loosened the front bolts, removed the rear, rotated the tank up, and snaked the wiring under

That is what I did on my 06 RK police bike.I then wired it to the pursuit or passing lamps,and left the switch that comes with the fog lamps in the circuit,and located by the triple tree.I now am able to switch the fog lights and passing lights on with the one original handle bar switch.or if I depress the switch that came with the fog lights only the passing lamps still work. Hope you can make sense out of all of this...this is before coffee this morning...Good Luck

You dash si different than mine, so not sure this will work.

On my King, I simply lifted the dash and ran fog light wires under it.....it really save me a lot of time and tinkering.....plus I had tried loosening the tank and lifting it up then sliding a long wire under it...the wire would pinch badly whenever I lowered the tank back no matter where I ran it, so I was kinda scared of that method.

thanks I just stated the wood burner in pole barn and hopefully will be able to do your tank trick going to fish wires through the engine guard first
