I love my Bub 7 true duals, although they are louder than I thought they would be. The bike feels like it has more power than it had with the HD touring mufflers even though I am not running a crossover with the Bubs. I haven't gotten it on the dyno yet ...... Thursday, and then we'll see what they are really going to do.
Best slip-ons going, great low end torqueand that deep sound.
If you want them louder, just remove the fiber packing.
The baffle system is the difference.
Highest HP and torque #s for slip-ons.
Another thought if you want to conserve the cash is try the turn down end capson the SE pipes. It redirects the noise downtoward the asphalt which reduces the volume. I switched to turndowns and it brought the noise level down quite a bit for a fraction of the cost of trying different pipes.

"Best" in what regard? Performance? "Highest HP and torque #s for slip-ons"? Can you show evidence? Dyno charts? I don't doubt you, but just would like to see something that supports that claim.
I recently put a new set of Rinehart TD's on my 06 Ultra along with the PClll and air filter...what did Bub do to their pipes? These things do not have the deep rumble, tone that the ones on my 04 Road King had. They sound more like cheap slip-ons. I also bought the quite baffles thinking that was the problem, but things did not get any better. If anyone has the same set up let me know. The bike really has good power, but I can't take that high pitched noise that it has even at low rpms.
