Default Extended Stainless Lines / Cables

I have finally decided to go with a set of Wild 1's Chubby bars on the bike and want to go with the recommended +4 cable and brake length. After spending time on the HD site I see I can get the standard length stainless clutch cable (which is fine), the +4 brake line kit but they only show a +2 for the throttle / idle cables.

For those of you who went with a set of either Chubby 508 or 518 bars, and the extended length cables and lines, where did you get your supplies? I'd like to get everything from one place if possible. And of course I'm looking for a quality product.

Thanks much,

Brian

I am also thinking of doing same thing. I have a Road King Custom, so my bars come back a little now so I don't think I need anything for the 508's or 518's. By the way what fairing is that on your bike?

I just priced a new set of Chubby 513's with Diamondback cables and electric extensions, all to be installed by a local dealer with 20% off all parts and 10% off the labor and the dang total came to $977 w/tax. Holy Crap!

I asked the guy whats up with that and he said 8 hours labor. I said, no way. He said, yes way. I said Good-bye.

Funny thing, when going through the HD site and catalog, you can't get the Diamondback cables for everything I would need in the extended sizes.

Go figure.

I'm running a Dead Center Cycle fairing which I installed a HD tach and mini-gauges. The pictures in my photo album need to be updated to show the Garmin Zumo 550 mount and the iPOD mount. Both are attached to the fairing and all part of the quick connect harnesses I made. The iPOD is connected to the Alpine head unit since it is designed to control the iPOD through it's interface. I'm also runnning a set of Infinity marine speakers in the front and a set of Hogtunes rear pods and speakers on the tourpack which is also quick detach.

Thanks for the tip in regards to Johnny Vaughn. Great site and I like that you can buy everything as a package.
