Yes, I've been talking to Mike, just nothing for the 2008 with my mod's as of yet. I'm really surprised because as popular as the V&H Ovals are I was sure they would have a match. WRONG!!
I don't know if you plan any future mod's, but ask Mike if he has a map with your setup plus the V&H true duals. I think he may. I've have had a touring bike sense 1999. This is the first time with true duals. I didn't know what I was missing. True duals ROCK !!!

Local dyno shop can't tune a SERTunless they have a DigiTech and last I heard only HD dealers can have those. There are pros and cons to all the tuners. Depends on what you want to do with your bike. I have a SERT on my 07 FLST. I highly recommend it on the 96 motors because of the ability to tune both closed and open loop. If all you want to do is change pipes and AC get a V&H or COBRA fuel tuner.

I doubt he rode his bike from Florida to Oregon for a dyno tune.

I had my bike dynoed at Latus where Mike works. He didn't actually do the tune, another tech did. I am very happy with the result.

Swicegk, for what you have, a canned map should be ok for your combo. Here is what I did, under closed loop bias for both front and rear max out all of the graph to 798. That will tell the system to run around 14.1:1 afr. Check you plugs after a while. Personally, I went to twin scan II+ with wego sensors. I dialed in the afr I wanted to run on the bike. Uploaded the file and let the twin scan run for a whil and capture diffrent data. The neat part of this is the twin scan will then tell you how to adjust the ve to obtain the correct tune you are looking for. PLus you can then dial the timing and data record of SERT to maximize your tune. Good stuff.

If you get a map for any 96" even 07 with the same set up you can apply it to a map for the 08 just open the map copy and paste not that big of a deal if someone with your similar set up is willing to share.

I believe there is a difference in 07 and 08 due to the throttle body and ECM changes.

Canned maps = canned performance. If you can afford a $20,000 bike why can't you afford the $300 it takes to make it run right.

I purchaseda map from Mike. I'm waiting for SERT cables (back ordered) to upload it. I would rather get a very good map for $50 rather than rely on a dyno tune from my dealer for $350. I'll let everyone know how it works out when done.

BERTK,
I'm with you, from past experienceI don't trust anyone around here to perform a dyno tune. Maybe I'll add the V&H dresser duals if your map works out. Keep us posted on the results.
