Default Engine gaurd cooler question

Ive already got the engine guard cooler setup on the stock barbut I like the mustache gaurd and want to change to it and was wondering if there are any issues using it as the oil cooler? Ya think warm bars wouldloosen the double sided tape or maybe it may leak? Thanks for any advice!
