Default Saddle Bag Guard Kit / Road Glide

Considering adding the Chrome Rear Saddlebag Guard Kit to my 08 RG for added protection. Will the 49291-07 kit have everything needed or are there extra parts I will need for the install?

That's everything you need in that kit.

Do the mufflers have to be removed for the install?

KEN That is one sweeeeet glide!!!! No you dont have to remove pipes to install but im not sure about removal of other rails?
One very nice option is to add leather bags on rails..makes a nice touch and great place to hold glasses ect....HAPPY TRAILS.... COME ON SPRING!!!!

Jakester / HDWD2000,
Thanks for the kind words. I'm installing V&H Ovals, Ness BS and loading a SERT map provided by Doc1 of this forum today. Thought I'd pick up the guards if the local dealer has them in stock when I get new muffler clampsand add them at the same time. If the mufflers don't need to be removed I can just add the saddlebag guards later.
