problem
I read in a mag recently that when a bike sits, sometimes this happens. One thing they said to do was to pull the clutch in, and roll the bike back and forth a few times. If that doesn't work, they then said to pull the clutch in, and tie the lever back with a bungie cord, and leave it like that for a few minutes. I haven't had the issue with my rk custom, but that doesn't mean it would not happen... and like I said, I read about it in a mag, so it must be something that does happen...
I have the same problem on my '07 RK. When I was talking to a friend of mine that ride Kaw's he didn;'t even bat an eye and said it was just the fluid thickening from sitting and sticking the clutch plate together.
So now whne ever I start it and its been sitting for awhile I make sure to shift it neutral before I hit the button.
George.
