Soos is planning on goin' in...........convinced him with the mileage on his scoot and before his summer bike trip he might want to check his tensioners. Probably will not need to replace them just yet, but ya never know!
Well dawg messed up my Easter Sunday afternoon by strong arming me into pulling off my exhaust to check the condition of my cam tensioners.[:@] They are fine, thank you very much. Now since I wasn't planning to do this, I don't have a new gasket for the reinstallation of the cover. Now for a $5.00 gasket it is going to cost me about $15.00 to run up to the dealer and buy this part. I can't make it there until friday at the earliest coz they are closed by the time I would get there after leaving work.[:@]
Now dawg, being the HDF parts guru/Dear Abby/Home Depot el cheapo mod-ifier/hand holder that he is, is also a parts guy at his local dealership. So I figure with his discount and all and it's because of him that I need this gasket, he can send me one for short money. I will be watching the mailbox anxiously.[sm=mail.gif]

Damn, that front tensioner looks better than most I've seen with 20k on them....do you even ride it?? How did you make out prying up the rear tensioner and using a dental mirror?
