Everyone reccomends 2 into1 for performance. On stock exhaust the right side seems to do all of the work. The sound of Vance Hines true duals is pretty awesome.

I'm in the process of putting on Bub7's TD with a crossover... I just like the looks and they claim it helps with low and mid torque.(I also did not want a very loud pipe)I'm more interested inlow and midthen top end.I'm not much for crusing over 65... things go by too quickly and I miss the show.I'm sure you will get a lot of hits on this, there are a lot of guys with experience on this. I've noticed that most do use the 2 in 1 for performance, and that was the answer I recieved when I asked the same question.

I do want to stay with duals, its one reason I purchased the Classic. They have the " 57 " Chevy look so to speak. I suppose a set with a ghost pipe would do ok. I did like the sound of a pair on a Classic I heard at my dealers the other daythough. Rineharts, with a quiet baffle. ( These were tru duals )
I just installed a set of V&H dresser duals on a 08 SG and usedexisting Sampson Rolled Ovals. The true duals made the mufflers sound better. As already pointed out, the stock pipes force most of the exhaust out the right muffler. I then installed the V&H ovals and they sound even better. Not as loud as the Sampson. And they look great.

Hey jcbpa, I'm very interested in the Bub7's with crossover. Let us know how they do. Is there any chance you could do a sound post when you get them installed?
