Default Billet Brake Pedal

Iwas wanting to buy a Billet brake pedal today for my 2008 street glide but was told that for 2008 it was only made as a Extended Reach Billet Style Rear Brake Lever I was wondering if anyone has this and exactly how much of a difference is there between the two of them, The stock one fits me fine so I don't know what to expect out of the other

I cannot speak for the 08s but I can tell you that when I bought mine (04 Electra Glide), It said extended reach, which was fine with me. When I took off the stock one it was identical to the extended reach one.

I imagine it is the same for yours.

Go look at the mid footboard brake pedals on some of the older touring bikes and you will understand how the "extended reach" one evolved.
Now, extended reach is the same as OEM on newer bikes - or so it seems, and so I was told.

Good luck.

It really looks greatl But you will need the left side billet shifters too. It gets a little old with the bill, but it is worth it. I think ...

From 2000 on the bikes started coming stock with a longer brake lever than before. The billet style is the same length as the one on the bike now it's just made out of billet aluminum and has the holes cut in it. See page 471 of the 2008 P&A catalog for a picture. $164.95 for a different look. The only way I would pay that much is if you could get the brake pedal extended out further than stock.

I got that billet extended brake pedal, it doesnt seem to make that big a deal in length and looks great.
