I was just commenting on the use of armor all. I wouldn't use it on a old car, much less a nice bike. I plan on checking this Protect All out though. With all the technology they have these days, there should be a product that works like "they" say this does, so maybe this is it!

The wax as you dry products work pretty well too. But I wouldn't put it on the chrome. They don't gunk up the plastic like normal paste wax does either. I'll look for this stuff next time I'm out.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll have to give it a try. Is "ProtectAll" the brand, or product name?

I've been using it since 2001 on all my bikes. It is a great product, have never used anything else not even water. I have also used it on my car once when I was bored (imagine spray and wiping a whole Cadillac DTS, it took a little while to say the least). It works great on everything helmets, leathers, anything...chrome, windshields, the list goes on...

Just my .02,

Moe

I use it also, mainly on Chrome and Paint and it leaves a very nice finish, I use "Pledge" spray furniture polish on the windshield/plexiglass, it works wonders!

protectall was originaly designed for marine use, moved to the rv market. i hav used this stuff for years and wally handles this private label stuff in there rv section. best most universal stuff on the market. i suppose i shud make a statement about that german stuff i would never use because its overpriced, but i have never used it, nor will i. and guess what, turtle wax is once again the #1 product again with there "ice" product line. i have never tried it, must be snake oil, what a deal

I brought several cans of protect all from California with me when I moved to Arkansas. I ran out and could only find the pump bottle at Wal-Mart. I much prefer the aerosol cans. So I took an empty can to a small independent cycle shop and talked the owner into ordering some. He said he would stock it if it would sell. He's been stocking it for about 5 years now. It's good stuff.
