Only 3" of cord... pretty much "stealth".

A couple of nice mounts out there...Gilbos and the Riders Claw.

The way you choose tohide the cord... this way works for me.

Ive got the radio shack aux port wire plugged into the front of the stereo, then hidden inside the front fairing and it comes out throught he clutch cable hole on the other side. I have my I-pod mounted on the left handle bar. Its easier to have it mounted facing you on the left so you can reach up and change songs with one finger. You cant do that on the throttle side. There are tons of custom mounts for it online. Since I have fairing mounted speakers I use an old rear view mirror that I took the glass out of. I mounted the I-pod inside it. Cheap and it looks cool. By the way, nobody has paid attention or noticed the hidden aux wire mount.

ORIGINAL: texan321

I use the RF finder - no wiring at all... put it in my windshield bag....
I do this too -- in fact, the iPOD is in the pocket of my backrest, and my wife has all the controls of what we listen to, except the volume aspect. It makes her ride all the more enjoyable to have that input into the trip experience.
