bought 1' cord from radio shack today part # 42-2497 (description: 1/8" stereo miniplug to 1/8" stereo miniplug)
cost $4.99 + tax
however, if you can transmit to an fm frequency, I would think that would be the better way to go (no cord to keep track of & it can be locked up),unless someone else is doing the same thing & causes interference of some kind
