Does anyone know what the next "give away" from harley will be? Now it is a duffel bag. I'm planning on buying some stuff soon and would like to know. thanks. Dale in Casper
Not really sure about the next one, and I wouldn't really call the current one a duffel bag. I had to pick up some stuff on Friday and ended up with one. It is more like a roadside assistance kit. The "Duffel" shaped bag unrolls to reveal 8 compartments for storage. Inside some of the compartments was a multi tool, a LED flashlight, a thermal blanket, a cleaning cloth, and a little red reflective triangle that I think is supposed to flash but mine didn't work.
All in all if is a nice roll bag especially for not expecting it. If I would have know or remember about it up front I would have broken my purchase up into a couple of different sales and gotten a couple of them so I could have passed them out like I did last year with the blankets.
Premiering May 22, 2008, LucasFilm and Paramount will introduce the fourth Indiana Jones movie in the unforgettable series, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of Crystal Skull." The movie stars Harrison Ford, and the young rising star, Shia La Beouf. Harley-Davidson provided a Softail Springer motorcycle to be modified and featured in the film.To highlight our presence in the movie and help you leverage our involvement, we're providing each dealer with the opportunity to obtain 30 sets of tickets to the movie. Use these tickets in your local markets to help drive customer traffic to your dealership during the peak of riding season. The promotional period will be May 1-June 1, 2008.
Other than that......you have to wait for the 2008 holiday peweter motorcycle gift collection similar to the 07 holiday one.
I have no idea what is next... but the roll bag is cool! has an HD leatherman, an LED flash light with the batteries!!! a red flasher/blinking, a thermal blanket, an eye glass clothe, a kickstand plate, and about 10 molded compartments with mesh velcro lid to put stuff in!!! I was very impressed. I had $400 from the chrome bucks to spend so I got some chaps, a new rain suit (overpass), some new gloves, a belt buckle, a skull mask(it is still in the 20's in the a.m. most days around here yet)but I did not spend my real cash, and they gave it to me anyway... I love it!
I got the rollup travle kit with my last service a week ago, the leatherman was missing I thimk someone in the service department has it. My wife liked it so I told to use it for a makeup kit for our over night trips. I agree with Lewd Dude it's cool thing if you are going to spend the coin anyway. I will make good use of jiffy stand coaster, it getting to look a little wornout.
Having worked at a dealership you really don't know what Harley's next promotion is until about the time you get the items. No crystal ***** to see what's coming.
regarding the harley duffle bag...i like the looks, but after inspecting the things that come in it i realized you can put all of them in one of the compartments.....i'm taking a 6 day trip to west texas this week and i'm still trying to decide what to put in the rest of the compartments????...any suggestions?
