RE: Miracles of Modern Medicine... Updated Crash Pics
It was only a month after your's when I had mine. My right leg looked like yours, a gash from ankle to half way up my leg, shin bone in 8 pcs. 12 screws and a Ti brace later, I can walk with only a slight limp. Am able to kick the bike over, but it will be a while before it's rideable. Just finished disassembling and have to have the frame trued up before I can put it back together.
A hundred years ago we would both have stumps(shudder). Good Luck on your recovery, glad you can still ride!
RE: Miracles of Modern Medicine... Updated Crash Pics
Hi there, man I can totally relate, I broke both my hips in June 06 - a good surgeon, 12+hrs in the OR, enough titianium to make a small car 3 1/2 months in a w/c, and 1 year of recovery= nearly back to "normal" slight length difference, but I can get out of bed, ride the motorcycle , go to work[&:]and continue to praise God for all the blessings so every day is a good day!! Hope all is going well with your recovery, PT kinda bites dont it?
