Default Fairing mirrors shaking
Hey guys just got back (exhausted) from riding 06 street glide. All the post i read said the mirrors vibrated at idle then were clear when riding. Well i have the exact opposite going at idle there perfect , then when im riding they shake to the point were everything in them seem to be in an earthquake. Bike itself seems to be shaking to much especially under 2000 rpms, road kingdrove much smoother . Any help guys im hoping its motor mounts(simplest solution).

Try taking your fingers off of the front brake at idle see if it helps. I had the same problem till I figured this out.

Idle seems to be the only time everything is fine. When i start riding is were all the issues comein.

Ohhh I misread. Some folks were having Mount issues but not me. OOPS Mine only shakes bad when at idle at a stop I hold the front brake. I think its funny.

My '07 does the same thing since I added the pipes. I believe it's all part of the experience. It shouldn't be ridden below 2k RPMs either.

I would recommend that you do not ride below 2000 rpm. That is really lugging the engine and there is some debate about that being part of the cause of the excessive pinion runout.

I have never had issues with my mirrors on my 06 street glide.They have always been very clear even with the speedo buried but i remember a recall on the 06's for the inner fairing and mirrors.It was for pre a certain date and yours may have fell under that.Good luck..

Can't shake any worse than that 77 FXE I had. Couldn't barely see who was behind your @ 70 mph.
